Savannah Simulations AG develops and sells SimWalk, a simulation software solution for pedestrian logistics. We do for pedestrians what logistics does for goods and services.
Pedestrian logistics is the process of planning, simulating, implementing, and controlling the efficient, safe and cost-effective flow of pedestrians and passengers from A to B for the purpose of efficient and secure facilities and operations.
What problems do we solve?
Pedestrian logistics consists of different interacting factors that guarantee or hinder effective pedestrian solutions (see figure Pedestrian Value Dynamics below).
Through simulation and analysis, SimWalk software helps to solve inefficiencies in pedestrian logistics to implement cost savings for facility operators and and a seamless travelling experience for pedestrians and passengers.

How is it done?
The use of SimWalk is based on a proven implementation cycle for pedestrian logistic projects (see figure Implementation Cycle below).
From data acquisition to modeling and simulation, scenario evaluation and recommendations, SimWalk supports all phases of pedestrian logistics projects. Based on the latest simulation technology, SimWalk allows the realistic study and improvement of pedestrian and passenger flows (see figure Simulation Cycle below).
